Lucknow: In a swift and coordinated response, the Lucknow Police successfully traced a missing four-year-old girl and reunited her safely with her family, bringing relief to the concerned relatives.
The child, identified as Sunaina, was found in the Adarsh Vihar Colony of Budheshwar under the jurisdiction of Para Police Station. She had reportedly wandered away from her residence while playing, prompting concern among locals.
According to officials, Sunaina lives with her father Mukesh Rawat and grandfather Hiralal Rawat in a rented accommodation in the Sudama Hotel lane of Adarsh Vihar. The family originally hails from Hasan Khera village in Safipur area of Unnao.
Preliminary information suggests that the child’s father had gone to work at the time of the incident, while she was at home with her grandfather. During this period, she inadvertently strayed far from the house.

Upon receiving information about an unidentified child, police personnel acted promptly to verify her identity and locate her guardians. Through local inquiry and verification, the child’s family was traced without delay.
The police then ensured that Sunaina was safely handed over to her father, who expressed gratitude for the timely intervention. The incident highlights the alertness and responsiveness of the local police in handling sensitive situations involving children.
Authorities have urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant, especially with young children, to prevent such incidents.
